Beautiful weirdos.
We love the classics– there are few things as perfect as the geometry of a ballform dahlia, or the spokes of a just-opening coneflower. But we are always pursuing the unexpected and rare– a spire of Bells of Ireland curling out of the vase, alien-looking pistils, varieties with names like ‘Rip Van Winkle’ and ‘Splish Splash’ and ‘Mai Tai’. Designing an arrangement from fistfuls of flowers we grew ourselves is how we share with the community our constant in-the-fields refrain: Oh my god, look at how beautiful this is!!
